Tonight’s event, presented in partnership with AFROTAINO Productions, features cellist, composer, and visual artist Daniel de Jesús. Their music, described as baroque pop and neo-goth, incorporates tribal beats, ambient soundscapes, and soaring vocals that enhance the artist’s powerful string arrangements. De Jesús’s latest release, Sonetos de Amor Oscuro, is inspired by the writing of Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca and recounts a forbidden love amid civil war.
