Pay What You Can for "Kea and the Ark" Performances at Theater Exile
At Theater Exile, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience powerful storytelling, regardless of financial circumstances. That's why we're offering "Kea and the Ark" on a Pay What You Can basis. We have different ticket rates to accommodate your budget, starting as low as $10, with suggested prices of $15, $25, and $50, or more if you are compelled to support our work. Choose the amount that feels right for you—every ticket helps support our small, independent theater company and makes it possible for us to continue producing meaningful performances for all.
"Kea and the Ark" tells the inspiring story of visionary artist Kea Tawana, who built an 86-foot-long ship out of salvaged materials in Newark, New Jersey. Known for her fierce independence and commitment to creating art in the face of adversity, Tawana believed in equity and the power of art to transform lives. Her story touches on themes of resilience, community, and the fight for space in a world that often overlooks the marginalized.
Whether you're able to pay a little or a lot, your presence at our performance is what matters most. We hope to see you at Theater Exile, where art and access go hand in hand.
