Angels

They are protectors, messengers, symbols of a higher power. Angels in my life have been plenty, serving as guardians and muses for my work. In the series of Angels that I create, they are inspired by one of my favorite preraphaelite William Blake, from whom I draw much inspiration technically and artistically. However, my take on these creatures is romantic, forlorn, and filled with moments of ecstasy. The Angel for me is a symbol of the highest reaches of divinity, so close to the idea of complete serenity in one’s soul and filled with the brilliance of enlightenment.
